Loblaw Companies Ltd. on Dec. 3 recalled selected lots of President’s Choice brand coleslaw due to possible salmonella contamination.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the product, according to a news release published on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

The recalled products were President’s Choice coleslaw in 397-gram packages. The UPC code for the recalled products was “0 60383 22267 3,” according to the release. The recalled products had a Best Before codes of “2019 DE 04 - B318005” and “2019 DE 04 - B318006.”

This recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency test results, according to the release. The CFIA said the agency is conducting a food safety investigation.
