Produce wholesaler M. Levin and Co. Inc., Philadelphia, has been recognized by the Philadelphia Inquirer with a 2018 Multi-Generational Family Business Award.

The company, now in its 112th year of operation, and other winners of the newspaper’s Family Business Award categories, will be honored at an Aug. 23 luncheon. M. Levin will also be profiled in the Aug. 19 issue of the Inquirer.

The third and fourth generations run the business, according to a news release, and the company is one of the oldest wholesale produce distributors in the area. M. The business also has an extensive offering of tropicals and ethnic produce.

“The family is very proud of all their accomplishments and ability to have made it 112 years and still going strong,” according to the release. “M. Levin would like to thank all of their loyal customers and suppliers for helping them remain successful.”
