Homegrown Organic Farms, Porterville, Calif., has hired Mark Sandell as a senior account manager on the company’s sales team.
Sandell has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, according to a news release, most recently as a national account manager for Pacific Organic. He started in the industry at Whole Foods as assistant director for produce distribution and has worked for JBJ Distributing, World Variety Produce (Melissa’s), Heath & LeJeune, New World Marketing and Stonehill Produce.
“I believe his years of experience in the organic industry will be a great addition to the team and will only help further the mission, vision and values of Homegrown,” Scott Mabs, CEO of Homegrown Organic Farms, said in the release.
“The growth of the organic marketplace has proven itself as more than a fad and I look forward to continuing to build upon that growth as a member of the Homegrown team,” Sandell said in the release.
