Mastronardi Produce Ltd. has been recognized in the Canada’s Best Managed Companies program for the ninth consecutive year, which continues its status as a Platinum Club member.
The Best Managed program, now in its 25th year, chooses from among hundreds of competing Canadian-owned and managed businesses with revenues of more than $15 million based on their strategy, capability and commitment to sustainable growth, according to a news release.
“Receiving this honor for the ninth consecutive year is a testament to the drive and determination of all our employees,” CEO Paul Mastronardi said in the release. “Thanks to our passionate and innovative team, we introduced some of our most creative products in our history. I’m grateful for their contributions and proud to share this recognition with them.”
Last year Kingsville, Ontario-based Mastronardi Produce launched several new products including the Sweet Bites pail, the Sunset Flavor Bowl and the You Make Me line of pasta kits with pasta, a spice packet and fresh tomatoes for an easily prepared two-person meal, according to the release.
