The U.S. Apple Association has hired Matthew Hendrickson in the newly created role of manager of association services.

He most recently was with management consulting company Interel Group US, as a liaison between association members, volunteers and management services, according to a news release.

Hendrickson has experience in association and nonprofit management, including member development, business operations and board governance, according to the release.

His work at the U.S. Apple Association will draw on his experience at nonprofits, including financial and office management. He joins the association June 10.

“Matt’s strong background in the nonprofit landscape and data analysis will be a huge asset for USApple as we continue to strategically align the management of day-to-day operations with the growth and cultivation of our bigger picture programs and activities,” Jim Bair, apple association president and CEO, said in the release.
