Maria Soto, doing business as Mary’s Produce, has satisfied a reparation order issued under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.

Soto was sanctioned by the USDA in October 2017 for not paying a $1,290 reparation award to an Illinois seller.

Now the McAllen, Texas, company has paid the debt and is free to operated in the produce industry, according to a news release. Soto, the sole proprietor of the business, can be employed or affiliated with any PACA licensee.
