ORLANDO, Fla. — Erin Hanagan-Muths, director of marketing for Bard, Calif.-based Bard Valley Natural Delights, shows off the company’s packaging makeover and a new chopped date product.
The new packaging look emphasizes the product inside rather than the company’s name, Hanagan-Muths says, and was designed after extensive consumer research conducted with Nielsen. The new packs roll out in December.
Also new from the company is a chopped medjool date product coated in coconut flour. The product is the only medjool variety in the chopped date category, she says, most other chopped dates being the deglet noor variety dusted with dextrose. The chopped dates come in a 12-ounce package.
