Northgate Gonzalez Market CEO Miguel Gonzalez received recognition as a legend of the industry at a recent luncheon of the Food Industries Sales Managers’ Club of Los Angeles.
The group presented the award to Gonzalez to honor his vision and leadership in the grocery business, according to a news release.
FISMC held the event at the The Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace in Yorba Linda, Calif.
With headquarters in Anaheim, Calif., Northgate is a family-owned Hispanic supermarket chain with 40 stores in the Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego counties. Its aim is to have all the grocery store staples plus favorite ingredients from Mexico.
FISMC has been recognizing leaders of the Southern California grocery industry for 85 years, per the release.
