The Ontario Produce Marketing Association appointed two board members who will serve three-year terms.

At the Sept. 2 annual general meeting and election, Fiona McLean, marketing manager of Del Fresco Produce, and Michael Wexler, sales representative at The Oppenheimer Group, started their terms.

They succeeded Steve Bamford of Fresh Advancements Inc. and Joe Dutchyn of Niagara Vineyard and Orchard Corp., according to a news release.

McLean is also director of the Berry Growers of Ontario and is on committees for the Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers, Canadian Produce Marketing Association and the Produce Marketing Association, Newark, Del.

Wexler grew up in his parents’ wholesale distribution business and has nine years of experience in the fruit and vegetable sector.  He has served on the OPMA member advisory group committee, according to the release.
