NatureFresh Farms, Leamington, Ontario, has hired Paul Hulsbos as procurement manager, based in Mexico.

Originally from the Netherlands, Hulsbos has been with importer-exporter Levarht, Alsmeer, Holland, which sources produce from a network of growers and packs, ships and markets it. He started at the company in 2003, and most recently was senior account manager. He has relocated to Mexico, according to a NatureFresh news release.

His new responsibilities include “aligning growers to support NatureFresh Farms’ winter programs as well as set up yearly commitments,” according to the release.

“He brings a great amount of experience to this new position and will greatly assist in building relations and our efforts in year-round production in Mexico,” John Ketler, NatureFresh Farms general manager, said in the release.

“I’m looking forward to contributing my experience to the procurement team at NatureFresh Farms while strengthening their presence in Mexico,” Hulsbos said in the release.

Hulsbos will strengthen communications between the company’s facilities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, according to the release.
