Emeryville, Calif.-based PickTrace is launching a new farm management technology tool called Command Center.
The data-driven system is designed to help managers evaluate efficiency, according to a news release.
Command Center collects data about field operations via Android devices, including worker productivity and other metrics.
Companies can use Command Center to see the efficiency of individual workers or take a macro view to look at the efficiency of their operations on a per-farm basis or by state/region, according to the release.
In addition to production metrics, the tool can also track data points in human resources, operations, compliance, food safety and quality control.
Command Center shows the data in dashboards and charts, which make it easy for users to understand the facts and figures, according to the release.
