A Mission for Nutrition campaign by Produce for Kids is inviting people to join a #MissionForNutrition Twitter party.
The campaign has digital and in-person elements to celebrate National Nutrition Month, which is March, according to a news release.
The organization partnered with seven health-conscious brands to give back to Feeding America and share the value of meal planning and prepping with families through online resources, social promotion and the distribution of registered dietitian kits.
Kits were sent to more than 400 registered dietitians and 52 retailers, packed with recipes, coupons and samples to share with shoppers.
On themissionfornutrition.com, families can download a free meal planning e-book with healthy recipes and enter to win weekly meal prep prizes.
There will be a #MissionForNutrition Twitter party at 4 p.m. Eastern March 12. Participants can prepare by reading the script here.
