The Packer’s Produce Market Guide is sponsoring the Forum for the Future luncheon Oct. 18 at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit.
The speaker at the session is Greg Williams, editor in chief at Wired magazine. Williams, a transformative trends expert, will moderate a discussion with disruptive innovators at the luncheon.
PMG, a marketplace platform connecting growers, shippers, and retailers, is an innovative force in produce data, said Angelo Grant, sales manager for The Packer’s Produce Market Guide.
With big growth in the past year, a popular feature on the platform is free to access for retailers to the PMG website, he said. Grant said PMG gives buyers the ability to educate themselves on commodities and contact grower/shippers for product.
Besides a PMG video and giveaways at the Oct. 18 luncheon, Grant said PMG representatives will be on hand for questions at the lunch venue.
