McDill Associates, Soquel, Calif., scooped up awards at the 2018 Silicon Valley ADDY Awards, including a gold award for marketing Pure Hothouse products.

Greenhouse grower Pure Hothouse markets vegetables under the Pure Flavor brand, and McDill Associates was noted for a campaign promoting the tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers in colorful pouches and clamshells.

McDill Associates wrote about the awards on its blog, referring to the Silicon Valley ADDYs as the Oscars of advertising.

“As you can imagine, all agencies participating in the ADDYs do some really great work,” the company said in the post. “This year was no exception! Clearly, budgets have loosened up and high tech is ready to have a little more fun with their marketing.”

The company also won two golds and best-in-show for cannabis-related snacks, backed by the company’s new division, Plaid Cannabiz Marketing.
