Red Sun Farms, Kingsville, Ontario, has been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for the seventh consecutive year.
The program recognizes Canadian companies with revenues of more than $15 million that demonstrate strategy, capability and commitment to sustainable growth, according to a news release.
Carlos Visconti, Red Sun CEO of U.S. and Canada operations, said the honor reflects the greenhouse grower’s core values: accountability, collaboration, trust and innovations.
“Our Red Sun family exudes these values in all aspects of our operations,” Visconti said in the release. “This recognition reaffirms our position as a leader in the produce industry.”
The annual recognition is sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC, Canadian Business Magazine, Queen's Smith School of Business and the TMX Group.
Recipients of the designation will be honored at a gala in Toronto April 17.
