The site is organized similarly to the previous one, so return users should find the new website easy to transition to, according to a news release.
“We’re thrilled to launch this new mobile-optimized site for Sakata vegetables,” Alicia Suits, Sakata’s communications manager, said in the release.
“This tool will allow our customers, growers and retailers alike to access all of the great information on our website wherever they may need it from whatever device they have handy.”
In addition to the new site’s responsive interface, download capabilities have been optimized for product brochures, field charts, educational videos, harvest schedules and more, according to the release.
The website also features a password-protected Service Center for Sakata customers to access order tracking and seed availability information.
Sakata Seed America plans a similar relaunch for SakataOrnamentals.com in early 2019.
