Cutchogue, N.Y.-based Satur Farms is launching organic salad dressings in convenient single-serving sizes.

The Long Island grower and processor of specialty salads, leafy vegetables, root vegetables and herbs is responding to the growing popularity of salad kits and prepackaged organic salads, according to a news release.

“There is very high demand for dressings that are made with fresh organic premium ingredients,” Satur Farms owner Paulette Satur said in the release.

The packaged salads industry rose 8% to $3.7 billion in 2016, with prepackaged organic salads growing faster than the average, posting a healthy 12% jump year-over-year, according to the release.

There are four flavors: white truffle, spicy Asian, citrus and honey balsamic. The dressings are in 1-ounce packets, come six packets to a bag and are organic.

Satur said the dressings will create a steady revenue stream year-round.
