Savor Fresh Farms is continuing its partnership with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of America this season and will feature the foundation’s logo on netted bags of Kiss melons.

“Our support for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is close to the heart of my entire family,” Milas Russell III, president of Savor Fresh Farms, said in a news release.

“My sister Lauren was the biggest fan of our Kiss melon program and wanted to be a part of it. Now, we carry on her memory with each melon.”

Lauren Russell had cystic fibrosis for 37 years and died in 2017, according to the release.

Savor Fresh Farms began its partnership with the foundation in Lauren Russell’s memory, according to the release. May is Cystic Fibrosis month.
