The Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference is foregoing its annual Savannah, Ga., venue for a virtual event in 2021.
The educational conference and trade show will be Jan. 5-7.
“Our number-one priority is protecting the health and well-being of all attendees and we are excited to move our conference to a virtual event,” said Charles Hall, executive director of the conference and the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association, in a news release.
The association which sponsors the event, along with the South Carolina Peach Council.
The conference will continue to feature educational sessions with commodity experts to keep growers current on production technology, new varieties and regulations. The content will be available in live and on-demand formats.
Information on booth and product showcase options, including interactive tools, will be released soon, according to the release.
