Rockingham, Va.-based Shenandoah Growers will be serving 1,500 mini cupcakes from Cinderella Cakes baked with That’s Tasty purees, according to a news release.
The company will be showcasing the That’s Tasty line at booth No. 4543.
In January, the company is adding jalapeno, habanero, poblano and banana peppers flavors to the line, which will be featured at Fresh Summit.
“Set to ‘kick off’ early next year, they’re a flavorful and spicy addition to the line,” Don Helms, vice president of marketing, said in the release. “Our partnership with Cinderella Cakes at the PMA Fresh Summit is a perfect way to do something out of the box and show just how tasty and versatile these new purees really are.”
The organic chili peppers have many uses, according to the company, including sides, toppings, ingredients for everyday meals, and even desserts.
“Mix them with some mayo and lemon juice for a spicy aioli, flavor up chili or taco fillings, mix a little jalapeno and chopped cilantro into a margarita or combine habanero with pineapple and cilantro in a salsa,” Helms said in the release. “These convenient purees are an easy way to make meals more vibrant and flavorful so you don’t have to get the peppers on your hands during preparation.”
The full line of 2.8-ounce tubes will be available at retail in January.
The company also will be highlighting new varieties of Living Organic Herbs, product displays and organic leafy greens grown at the Shenandoah Growers’ organic BioFarm in Virginia, according to the release.
