With the start of summer, white-flesh Angelcots are available from Frieda’s Inc., Los Alamitos, Calif.

The fruit, grown in California exclusively for Frieda’s exclusively, have a short season that starts in mid-June, according to a news release.

“Angelcots and other high-flavor tree fruits are trending every year because they’re something familiar with a slight twist,” Alex Berkley, sales manager, said in the release. “The flavor of these are mild and sweet, and shoppers are already waiting to get their hands on them, which is why we do pre-orders before the season even kicks off.” 

The specialty company has had the Angelcots for almost a decade, according to the release.
