SiCar Farms, McAllen, which began its Mexican lemon season in July, will be shipping through December.

The company’s production has increased significantly in the past three years, according to Luis Gudino, president.

The company has been shipping citrus year-round for 10 years, according to a news release. The lemons primarily come from Cuidad Victoria, Tamaulipas, and Colima and a new facility provides logistical advantages by being close to production.

“Our year-round availability guarantees the right quality as well the proper infrastructure to satisfy our customers’ specifications and needs in an expedient manner,” Gudino said in the release.

SiCar Farms offers lemons and limes in a variety of packs, including 2- and 5-pound bags, and 38-pound bulk boxes of lemons.
