The Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference is returning to Savannah, Ga., Jan. 9-12, 2020.

Sponsored by the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and the Georgia Peach Council, the event is scheduled to take place at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center, according to the release.

“This conference has become the ‘premier fruit and vegetable event’ in the southeast for growers to come and learn, network with other growers and find the latest in production practices, equipment, seed varieties, and pest management to make their operations more profitable,” Charles Hall, Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association executive director, said in the release. “We invite those in the business and those wanting to know more about the business of producing fruits and vegetables to come to SE Regional.”    

More than 70 hours of concurrent, commodity-specific seminars and other topics such as pest management and marketing will be covered, according to the release.

Other events taking place at the conference include a reception and live auction, an awards program and an industry roundtable to close the conference, according to the release.
