The Wisconsin Spudmobile will be at the Wal-Mart University Grand Opening on June 29 in Greenfield, Wis.

The vehicle aims to teach visitors about potato varieties grown in the state, nutrition facts about the vegetables, and the process of planting and harvesting them. The Spudmobile will be at the event from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

“Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Farmers are excited to bring this mobile education and interactive experience to people of all ages,” Dana Rady, director of promotions, communication and consumer education for the Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association, said in a news release.

The Spudmobile also makes stops at schools, community events and retailers that offer Wisconsin product. Features of the vehicle designed to be engaging for children are the Interactive Touch Table, Potato Variety and Recipe Kiosk, and Field-to-Fork Exhibits.
