Syngenta has appointed Chris Davison as head of business sustainability for North America.
The promotion became effective June 1 for Davison, who joined Syngenta in 2012 and was most recently head of corporate and government affairs for Syngenta in Canada. He’s relocating from Guelph, Ontario, to Washington, D.C., according to a news release.
In the new position, Davison will play a key role as “Syngenta accelerates its innovation to address the increasing challenges for farmers and the changing views of society,” Alexandra Brand, chief sustainability officer, said in the release.
“Our goal is to bring about positive lasting change in agriculture, and Chris will help us deliver on these ambitions,” Brand said in the release.
