California grower Talley Farms has released a cookbook.
"Our California Table: Celebrating the Seasons with the Talley Family" is a 192-page cookbook that features more than 50 family recipes and the company's history and growing region, according to a news release.
"Our program and branding is focused on personalizing our growers to the consumer," said Anthony Totta, director of marketing and business development for Talley Farms, in the release.
Authored by Talley Farms president Brian Talley, the book is designed to add value to the company's supply chain by familiarizing retail and foodservice partners with Talley Farms' story.
"I wrote this book to share the special character of the place where I was born and raised," Talley said in the release.
"Our California Table's" recipes are grouped season to season to showcase each harvest, with dishes such as grilled chicken and greens and quail with grilled radicchio and red onions. The cookbook also focuses on bell peppers, spinach, cabbage and other produce grown by the company.
Profits from the sale of the book will benefit the Fund for Vineyard and Farm Workers, according to the release.
