Kyla Oberman has left Naturipe Farms to join Tanimura & Antle as director of marketing.

Oberman, who was with Naturipe since 2010, is the latest in a string of hires at Tanimura & Antle, as the company bolsters its organic program.

At Tanimura & Antle, Oberman will “oversee and manage the company’s brand identity, marketing initiatives and communications programming,” according to a news release.

Samantha Cabaluna, who was Tanimura & Antle’s vice president of brand marketing and communications, recently left the company.

“We are ecstatic to welcome Kyla to our Tanimura & Antle family of employee owners,” Ashley Pipkin, senior manager of marketing, said in the release. “We were immediately impressed with her proven track record of reliability, team-centric character, and her commitment to developing, implementing and delivering process.”

Oberman’s produce marketing career began as an account executive at McDill Associates in 2004, according to the release. She joined Naturipe in 2010 as a marketing coordinator, and was later named marketing manager. She was most recently director of marketing at Naturipe.

At Tanimura & Antle, she’ll work on initiatives with Jeffrey Jackson, chief marketing officer.

“Kyla’s wealth of strategic marketing experience paired with a deep understanding of our unique industry makes her an incredible asset to our team,” Jackson said in the release.
