Salinas, Calif.-based Taylor Farms has added the Apple & Walnut Salad with Chicken, Garden Salad with Chicken and Bacon, and Chopped Farmhouse Salad with Chicken and Bacon to its single-serve salad bowl repertoire.

Those items started shipping the week of May 8.

“Single-serve salad bowls continue to grow at a rate of over 30% and we are thrilled be a part of that success,” Bryan Jaynes, vice president of product development for Taylor Farms, said in a news release. “We now produce 20 delicious salad bowl recipes in five facilities, playing a key role in supporting this industry growth.”

Those facilities are in Dallas, Tracy, Calif., Nashville, Tenn., Swedesboro, N.J., and Orlando, Fla.

Given that network, customers can receive products within two days, according to the release.

The Taylor Farms single-serve salad bowl line currently includes two organic recipes, Organic Spring Feta and Organic Three Bean, with more in development.
