Mann Packing Co., Salinas, Calif., recently hired Lawrence Henrard as vice president of operations, Bob Licker as regional sales manager and Jeff Hutterer as regional business manager.
Henrard has more than 15 years of experience, most recently as commercial director/president at the Morning Star Co., a vertically integrated tomato grower and processor. He’s been at Tanimura & Antle as director of procurement, vice president of berry supply for Dole Fresh Vegetables, chief operating officer and general manager at American Cooling Inc., and president and chief operating officer at Growers Transplanting Inc.
He’ll report to Jeff Cook, Mann Packing vice president and general manager of operations, according to a news release.
Licker has more than four decades of experience, beginning his career at the Hunt’s Point Terminal Market, Bronx, N.Y., growing up in a family foodservice business, according to the release. He ran his own produce business for 22 years, until he joined foodservice distributor US Foods as a produce specialist. Most recently, Licker was southeast produce sourcing manager/northeast produce regional manager at US Foods for the past five years.
He’s based on the East Coast and reports to Cody Ramsey, Mann Packing director of foodservice sales, according to the release.
Hutterer, who previously worked at Mann’s as national account manager from 2008-11, is regional business manager for the central territory. He has more than 20 years of experience, most recently as the director or retail sales and new business development for IFCO Systems. He’s also worked at Earthbound Farm as central region business development director, Ready Pac as regional sales manager and at Chiquita Brands International as business development manager.
Hutterer is based in the Minneapolis are and reports to Jeffrey Freeman, vice president of retail sales and marketing.
