Truck rates were mostly steady in early July, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s July 2 truck rate report.

The report said a slight shortage of trucks was reported in South Carolina and North Carolina, but adequate in all other districts.

Truck rates in California’s shipping districts were mostly unchanged to slightly lower, according to the report.
