Veg Fresh Farms has hired Tyler Lance and David Figueroa on its national foodservice team.
Lance comes from Progressive Produce, where he was for more than nine years, in operations/packaging first, then as logistics and supply chain manager and most recently as sale manager. At Veg Fresh, he is in a sales management position, according to a news release.
Figueroa is in a business development role at Veg Fresh. He’s a former board member of the Produce Marketing Association’s foodservice board and was a co-chairman of the Fresh Produce & Floral Council’s SoCal foodservice committee.
Figueroa’s position is a new one for Veg Fresh, and central to the company’s growth, according to the release.
“Joe Marchese has built the national foodservice sales division at Veg Fresh Farms from the ground up, and we couldn’t be more proud of what he has accomplished since starting this segment of our business in 1994,” Mark Widder, general partner of Veg Fresh, in the release.
Clay Widder and Dan Floyd are also in the company’s foodservice division.
