Unitec Group, which designs and manufactures equipment for sorting, packing and processing more than 35 fruits and vegetables, is showcasing its products at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit.

The company plans to focus its Cherry Vision 2 electronic cherry selecting technology, according to a news release, and other high-performance vision systems of interest to the blueberry, cherry, apples, pears, plums, apricots and kiwifruit industries.

“We’ve been very pleased as a group with the feedback from U.S. customers who’ve decided to introduce our innovations to their fruit processing,” said Luca Montananari, vice president of the Unitec Group.

The company will exhibit in booth No. 5136 at the Fresh Summit event in New Orleans, Oct. 20-21.
