The U.S. Department of Agriculture has cited Paradise Produce LLC, Las Vegas, for Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act violations.

The company did not pay almost $695,000 to 32 produce sellers it received from February-November 2017. The company is prohibited from operating in the industry until March 4, 2021, and only after receiving a PACA license, according to a USDA news release.

The company’s principals, according to the USDA, are Eugene Hickey, Michael Rosenblum and William Rosenblum. They may not be employed or affiliated with a PACA licensee until March 4, 2020, after posting a USDA-approved surety bond.
