The U.S. Department of Agriculture has determined that Jimmy W. Hutton is not liable in a Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act case.

Hutton was initially named in a PACA complaint against Cal Tex Produce L.P., Dallas. The company had failed to pay a $8,030 PACA reparation award in February, according to a news release. Hutton was named in the complaint, but the USDA has determined he was not responsibly connected to Cal Tex Produce at the time of the PACA violation.

Hutton can be employed by and affiliated with PACA licensees.
