The U.S. Department of Agriculture is offering a web seminar on electronic filing requirements in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Automated Commercial Environment.
The virtual event, starting 1 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 1, will specifically address marketing order-related Section 8e inspection and documentation requirements, according a USDA notice.
Registration for the fee web seminar is available online.
The USDA has expanded electronic filing of the marketing order-related documents to all importers after a multi-year pilot phase. About half of 29 U.S. specialty crop marketing orders have companion import requirements, according to the agency.
