The National Council of Agricultural Employers hosted a web seminar on the H-2A guest worker program that was so popular, the group is making it available on video.

The “H-2A 101” was hosted by Tom Bortnyk, vice president and general counsel for MAS Labor. He reviewed obligations for growers using the program, described the application process and discussed best practices for employers, according to a news release from the Washington, D.C.-based NCAE.

“The feedback we received was so positive, we wanted to give access to the webinar for those who couldn’t participate in the sold out event,” Nigel Bocanegra, manager of association services for the NCAE, said in the release.

A YouTube video of the web seminar is available by contacting Bocanegra at [email protected]

“Mr. Bortnyk presented information in a user-friendly, intuitive way and attendees noted that the webinar greatly exceeded their expectations,” he said in the release.
