Village Farms will highlight its newest tomato variety, Lorabella Blossom, at its Fresh Summit booth Oct. 20-21.

That product is available now in a 10-ounce clamshell and will soon be available in 10-ounce bags, according to a news release.

Also at booth No. 453 will be Kristina LaRue, a registered dietitian and blogger who is representing the company.

“I’m looking forward to my first PMA in New Orleans as a brand ambassador for Village Farms,” LaRue said in the release. “I am really looking forward to sharing many innovative, fun, healthy ways I have created to use their products.”

Additionally, Village Farms will have several product demonstrations.

“We have some surprising events planned that are interactive, like a DIY cucumber hand scrub or a smashing tomato toast demo, as well as a whole schedule of fun things to taste and try,” director of brand marketing and communication Helen Aquino said in the release. “Kristina will also be doing some sweet giveaways for those who take part in the events.”
