Village Farms International Inc., Vancouver, British Columbia, is ramping up supplies of greenhouse tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers for the season.

The company’s Canadian-grown pepper program starts shipping at the beginning of April to U.S. and Canadian stores, according to a news release.

“We have a wide range of pack styles to suit our retail partner pepper category demographic,” Lyra Vance, director of strategic business and sales development, said in the release. “Not to mention our growers are phenomenal seasoned pepper farmers with a solid track record of growing premium quality peppers.” 

Village Farms branded Sweet Bells are available in a full offering of red, yellow, and orange packaged sizes including 3-, 4-, and 6-count bags.  

Bret Wiley, Senior Vice President & Sales Operations with Village Farms tells us the crop is looking really great and that the company expects to exceed expectations this year given this, 

“Our Canadian grower partner has been farming peppers for years and also does a great job with beefsteak tomatoes,” Bret Wiley, senior vice president of sales and operations, said in the release.

Village Farms offers Juicy Beefsteak tomatoes in all standard bulk Price Look-Up sizes, and packaged in 2-, 4-, and 6-count clamshells, and a 5-pound box.
