A new web page will allow the public, industry and other stakeholders to track the Food and Drug Administration’s food-related research priorities, activities, reporting and tracking.

Looking specifically at the FDA’s Foods and Veterinary Medicine program, the website, will help scientists and others understand what research projects the agency is involved with, according to a news release.

The release said the new web resource includes information about FDA’s Science and Research Steering Committee, a group that coordinates the Foods and Veterinary Medicine program’s science and research activities. The work the committee oversees includes projects in the scientific disciplines of chemistry, microbiology, toxicology and nanotechnology, according to the release.
