The company plans to unveil the new bags at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure event March 7-9 in Orlando, Fla., according to a news release.
The company’s complete line of conventional ready-to-eat greens sport the new packaging, with the Nature’s Greens label showing bright colors while still allowing the product in the bag to be easily seen. Nutritional information highlights attributes of the greens.
“As the leafy greens guide in the produce industry, we pride ourselves in continuing to invest in the leafy greens category by staying in tune with trends,” Ashley Rawl, vice president of sales, marketing and product development, said in the release. “With a fresh new look and creative modern design, we are excited to draw in new consumers to the leafy greens category.”
The company’s collard, kale, mustard, turnip and greens blend packages showcase an outline of each variety’s leaf.
