DEL FRESCO: Fiona McLean and Carl Mastronardi show off Del Fresco Produce Ltd.’s new premium Euro Bean, a greenhouse-grown premium slicing bean. Mastronardi says the flow-wrapped pack has had a great pilot test in Ontario retailers, and is expanding to select markets in the U.S. The company also introduced snack-size packs of greenhouse strawberries, YES! Berries Stackers, which include three 4-ounce clamshells of berries, McLean says.

The line includes four flavors: Teriyaki Bok Choy, Tuscan Kale with Genovese Pesto, Lemon Garlic Spinach and Bacon & Cider Greens. Each kit, which retails for $3.49-3.99, includes a sauce and cooks in about three minutes.
