BONDUELLE: Stephen Reilly, senior marketing manager for Irwindale, Calif.-based Bonduelle Fresh Americas (which markets the Ready Pac Foods brand), visits with booth goers about the company’s new Heat & Eat Harvest Bowl product line. Options in the line include Basil Pesto Turkey, Moroccan Inspired Chicken, Chipotle Chicken and Korean Inspired Beef. The products are in some West Coast retailers now and are expected to roll out nationwide later this year.

Each item has its own flavor profile and a name that describes it. The line has three strawberry varieties — the Lolliberry, the Pearberry and the Dreamberry — along with the Moonberry blackberry, the Angelberry raspberry and the Joyberry blueberry.

CRUNCH PAK: Jay Zimmerman, senior sales executive for Cashmere, Wash.-based Crunch Pak, displays items from the company’s new fresh-cut pear line, which won an Innovation Award from United Fresh at the show. Crunch Pak also debuted a protein-based snack medley line and showcased variety-specific stand-up pouches for Kanzi, Cosmic Crisp, Smitten, Ambrosia and Honeycrisp apple slices.

The company is working on verifying the shelf life and plans to have the item ready for market by the end of the year.

DEL FRESCO: Marketing manager Fiona McLean and president Carl Mastronardi show off a new shipper that highlights a distinctive attribute of the strawberries from Kingsville, Ontario-based Del Fresco Produce. Del Fresco berries recently received a pesticide-free certification from SCS Global Services. Along with featuring that achievement on the shipper, Del Fresco will also have the Certified Pesticide Free mark on the berries’ packaging.
