USDA looks to buy 485,000 cartons of domestic grapes
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is looking to buy as much as 485,000 cartons of domestic grapes for the school lunch program and other federal food and nutrition assistance programs.
Bids from U.S. grape shippers are due April 27, according to the USDA solicitation.
Accepted bids will by announced by May 11, according to the USDA, and fresh grape deliveries are to be made between May 31 through July 28.
