Alsum, Green Bay Packers partner on potato promotion
Friesland, Wis.-based Alsum Farms & Produce is collaborating with the Green Bay Packers on its "Free Potatoes for a Year" promotion running through November.
In addition to being eligible for the grand prize, participants can also win Alsum potatoes and grilling accessories during the contest, according to a news release.
"Alsum Farms & Produce is excited to partner with the Green Bay Packers for the third year in a row," Heidi Alsum-Randall, national sales and marketing manager of Alsum, said in the release. "The Free Potatoes for a Year promotion encourages football fans to make nutritious, homegrown Wisconsin potatoes a part of their game day and everyday meals, and create awareness of Alsum brand potatoes."
The winner of the sweepstakes, selected at random, will receive the grand prize - a monthly delivery of various Alsum potatoes for one year, an approximate retail value of $300, according to the contest rules - and six other entrants will receive a single prize pack that contains potatoes and grilling accessories.
