Military Produce and Produce Mom collaborate
On Sept. 12, Military Produce Group and The Produce Mom will begin a marketing partnership that will include social media promotions and commissary marketing material.
The Produce Mom's monthly calendar, The Produce Challenge, will be put on display in the produce departments at commissaries served through Military Produce Group, according to a news release. The Produce Challenge encourages daily consumption of fruits and vegetables.
Although the Military Produce Group already has a series called "Snacks for Little Soldiers", The Produce Mom will be producing social media videos to expand its promotion. It will also produce content for the Defense Commissary Agency, with a wellness message for active-duty members, retirees, Guard and Reserve personnel and their family members.
"The Produce Mom is proud to be an advocacy brand of American agriculture," said The Produce Mom's Lori Taylor in the release.
"We are thrilled to work with Military Produce Group to help promote fruits and vegetables to America's military families."
