Braga Fresh rolls out organic chopped salads

Vegetable grower-shipper Braga Fresh has introduced two organic chopped salad kits.

Soledad, Calif.-based Braga Fresh is packing its new Organic Sweet Kale and Organic Asian chopped salads under its Josie's Organics label, according to a news release.

Organic Sweet Kale features kale, green cabbage, broccoli and radicchio. Toppings include roasted pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries and poppyseed dressing.

Organic Asian features green cabbage, celery, carrots, cilantro and green onions. Toppings include almonds, sesame seeds, wonton strips and tangy sesame dressing.

Braga Fresh also ships organic baby leaf salads and organic salad blends under the Josie's label.

In addition to the new chopped salads, Braga Fresh plans to introduce seven more Josie's salads later this year.
