Monterey Mushrooms makes marketing moves

Monterey Mushroooms is in the process of restructuring its sales and marketing division, hiring a new sales manager and establishing an internship program.

The Watsonville, Calif.-based company hired Erica Manfre as the new sales manager for its Watsonville office, according to a news release.

Mike O'Brien, vice president of sales and marketing for Monterey Mushrooms, praised the addition of Manfre to the sales staff.

"Not only will she bring a focus on customer relationship quality to our team, but she will bring new insights and exuberance to an already talented group," said O'Brien in the release.

Lindsey Roberts, a marketing specialist who reports directly to O'Brien, will also be overseeing a new marketing internship program.

Monterey Mushrooms intends to hire another sales manager to work from home and manage business relationships with accounts in Southern California, Nevada and Arizona.
