Avocados From Mexico launches three promos

Avocados From Mexico will take advantage of the increased consumer interest in avocados and guacamole this fall with three new promotions.

The promotions will last through Hispanic Heritage Month, according to a news release.

AFM's "For the love of Guac" campaign, kicking off on Sept. 16's National Guacamole Day, will see more than 2 million buy-one-get-one coupons distributed through various outlets, including Coupons.com, SuperSaver e-mail subscribers, SmartSource Sunday Newspaper's Sept. 18th issue, and national Catalina in-store coupons.

The campaign will also be featured on in-store radio and promoted through merchandising such as Guac Center pallet bins, created by Avocados From Mexico and featuring guacamole ingredients.

"Guactember" is another AFM campaign where consumers will help create "the best and largest board on Pinterest" according to the release.

Avocados From Mexico is also partnering with Tabasco Sauce for its "Fiestas Patrias" campaign. The new retail program will offer a $1-off discount when purchasing two Avocados From Mexico products and one Tabasco Sauce. AFM will provide in-store merchandising and point-of-sale materials to participating stores for the promotion from Sept. 1-Oct. 15.
