Lesley Ma joins NSF International as information-improvement officer

NSF International, Ann Abor, Mich., has hired Lesley Ma as new chief information and continuous improvement officer.

Ma, a longtime automotive industry executive, was most recently global chief information officer for Cadillac at General Motors, where she worked for 14 years. She also worked for Ford Motor Co. for eight years, where she was manager of customer information systems.

“Lesley’s track record of overseeing large-scale IT organizations and enabling transformative change through continuous improvement and information technology efforts are key to our growth,” NSF International CEO Kevan Lawlor said in a news release.

“In the coming years, we will continue to sharpen our focus on establishing consistent processes and governance across our core services, including consulting, auditing, testing, certification and training,” Lawlor said, relying on Ma’s experience in the process.
