Submit your nomination for United Fresh Women in Produce
The nomination period is open for the United Fresh Produce Association’s Women in Produce program, which has taken place the last 22 years at the United Fresh Convention & Expo.
Nominations will be accepted until March 6.
The program recognizes the contributions of women in the produce industry and selects one honoree to share her experience, according to a news release.
The Women in Produce program will be at the breakfast general session June 17.
Katie Fitzgerald, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Feeding America, will be the keynote speaker. Fitzgerald leads the implementation of Feeding America’s strategy, working with member food banks and other partners to alleviate hunger.
“Elevating the celebration to a breakfast general session once again shines a brighter light on the contributions from all women in our industry as the focus of this gathering,” United Fresh president and CEO Tom Stenzel said in the release.
